As a Business Analyst, you will serve as the liaison between there business stakeholders and development team, translating business requirements into technical specifications and ensuring the successful delivery of the product. You will leverage your technical expertise and analytical skills to drive data-driven decision-making, this role requires a flexible and resourceful individual who can effectively collaborate with cross-continental teams and contribute to the seamless execution and implementation of AI-driven solutions.
What you’ll be doing
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze and prioritize feature requests, enhancements, and bug fixes based on business value and technical feasibility.
- Work closely with software engineers, designers, and product managers to translate requirements into technical specifications and user stories.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct thorough analysis of system data and workflows to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
- Define and document business processes, workflows, and system integration's to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Assist in the testing and validation of software solutions to ensure they meet functional and quality standards.
- Clearly understand the dev and application side
- Experience as a Business Analyst in a technical environment, preferably within the SaaS and/or start up organisations.
- Strong technical background with knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and technologies.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering, user story writing, and process mapping techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders as well as work with cross-continental teams.
- Experience with Agile environments, with an adaptable and solution focused approach to work.
- Ambitious and passionate about technology.
- Understands the database principles and database schemer’s to put 60-70% of it together
- Understand the value of what each field of data means, understand quantities and can do quick checks on ROIs and usage.
