Job Description
As the new Business Analyst, you play a crucial role in cultivating and sustaining a strong client relationship between Adecco and the Commonwealth of Australia's Defence. Your provision of exceptional services ensures high client satisfaction, meeting or surpassing Defence expectations and fostering a lasting partnership.
You will:
- Identify and analyse existing business processes, systems and other functional requirements to document and recommend improvements to enhance business operations and performance.
- Manage the development, facilitation, coordination and communication of initiatives and strategies applying best practice methodologies to ensure organisational consistency and improved business performance.
- Liaise with key stakeholders to review and monitor effectiveness of tools, systems, methods and standards to ensure consistency and quality of outcome.
- Gather, analyse and translate business data to meaningful insights to support informed decision making to improve the effectiveness of processes and programs.
- Ensure business improvement and functionality is implemented whilst adhering to timeframes for delivery as per change management and implementation plans.
- Influence stakeholders on organisational priorities and deliverables, whilst establishing effective relationships to develop trust and ensure accurate information.

Your background will demonstrate:
- Experience working with Government and Defence is desirable
- Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex business processes and systems.
- Proficient in gathering, documenting, and analysing business requirements.
- Experience in conducting stakeholder interviews and facilitating workshops to elicit requirements.
- Competent in creating clear and comprehensive business requirement documents (BRDs) and functional requirement documents (FRDs).
- Skilled in data analysis and interpretation to provide valuable insights for decision-making.
- Familiarity with various business analysis tools and methodologies.
- Effective communication skills to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to addressing business challenges.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and the ability to apply them to optimize business processes.
