The Business Analyst role is within the Consumer, Business and Wealth (CBW) Financial Crime Delivery Portfolio and will enable Westpac to meet its regulatory commitments and achieve the required business benefits. The successful candidate will have demonstrated the ability to perform business analysis tasks primarily within the boundaries of a multi-tiered complex project or Program but not limited to.

The Role
Business Analyst is a person who performs business analysis tasks primarily within the boundaries of a project and/or program but not limited to. These tasks are performed via the Hybrid methodology (Waterfall and Agile) and/or business process management.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Supporting your team members in the achievement of Westpac's strategy by working with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, information and systems.
- Defining and managing the requirements through the delivery lifecycle to meet business needs and Providing recommendations for process re-design and improvements and business solutions, enabling changes to processes, policy and/or information that support Westpac to achieve targeted business outcomes and deliver business value.
- Developing process mapping and analysis, story maps or experience maps, and completing target solution gap analysis.
What do I need?
We are looking for a talented person who demonstrates:
- Tertiary qualifications, equivalent experience and a strong understanding of technology and business systems strategically and operationally is highly advantageous.
- Minimum 3 years' experience successfully in an agile environment performing the role of Business Analyst delivering delivery project proficiency, ensuring solution enables business processes to deliver the desired business outcomes and value.
- Facilitation of business solution workshops involving participants from stakeholders
- Strong experience in Customer Focused Design within Financial Crime / AML / KYC/ Foreign Tax Residency experience.
