About the Role
Reporting to the Manager, Project Management Office (PMO), you will lead discovery stages and development of business cases for enterprise projects and will work closely with the other members of the Project Management Office core team in delivery of high-quality project services to the business.
The Project Management Office is the home of the Business Analyst community of practice and as a Business Analyst practitioner you will share your experience and upskill others.
Full-Time fixed term position for 12 months. Band 4.3 $110,814.08 plus superannuation.
About the Team
The PMO supports an enterprise approach to the selection and delivery of projects and the uplift of project delivery capability in the organisation to deliver on strategic priorities.
The PMO is a hybrid model; home to a core group of project managers, change managers and Business Analysts, delivering projects as well as supporting and up-skilling project managers based in other business units.
The successful candidate will have:
- Relevant tertiary degree or Business Analysis certification
- Extensive Business Analyst skills and experience with a strong focus on understanding underlying problems
- Proven ability to analyse business problems and work collaboratively with business stakeholders to develop solutions; both system solutions and related business processes
- Experience in acting as the lead BA on large and complex, cross-organisational projects that successfully delivered on customer / stakeholder expectations
- Experience as the lead analyst on projects with significant business process change
- Experience in eliciting requirements and designing solutions within a complex organisation,
- Experience in technology projects involving system selections and /or integrations
- Confident in designing and running workshops and presenting findings to senior stakeholders
- Membership of the IIBA or equivalent or other evidence of continuous professional development
