Role Overview:
As Transport Analyst, you will play a critical role in analysing and optimizing the future route-to-market state for the business. Your responsibilities will include preparing recommendations, assisting in modelling these recommendations, and undertaking cleanup tasks related to the SAP customer master data and delivery instructions within the Transportation Management System (TMS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of the future route-to-market state for the beer business, focusing on optimizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare data-driven recommendations based on your analysis, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market trends.
- Assist in modelling and simulating the impact of proposed recommendations on our distribution network, evaluating various scenarios and their outcomes.
- Conduct cleanup activities in SAP customer MD related to delivery days, carriers, and transportation zones to improve data accuracy and system efficiency.
- Streamline and optimize delivery instructions within our TMS, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to best practices.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools, with the ability to manipulate large datasets and derive actionable insights.
- Experience working in a large distribution network, preferably within the FMCG, Retail, 3PL or related industries.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of delivering strategic recommendations and driving process improvements.
- Familiarity with SAP and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at various levels.
