We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a large government organisation on their Information Management Program for the SharePoint to Cloud migration. This exciting initiative involves migrating their existing SharePoint 2016 content to SharePoint Online. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in this business-driven project, contributing to the successful transition and improvement of the intranet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and hands-on business analysis skills for successful project deliverables.
- Complete documents for business and user functional requirements to the agreed project standard and schedule.
- Consult, liaise, and collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and end users throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage the resolution of business-related issues, conducting research, analyzing impacts, and providing recommendations.
- Obtain input and provide assistance to business areas for current to future mapping based on SharePoint Online architecture.
- Engage and direct business on SharePoint on-premise content clean-up tasks.
- Assist in the creation and updates of the SharePoint Online migration plan and Teams Site migration dates.
- Define requirements and use cases for SharePoint applications.
- Prepare Transition to Support documentation based on TMR processes.
- Draft new process maps for Governance and forms/workflow.
- Demonstrated business analysis abilities in a large and complex organization.
- Experience in gathering business and functional requirements for IT applications.
- Previous experience with forms and/or workflow solutions, preferably in a SharePoint environment.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in SharePoint, Visio, Word, and Excel.
- Experience in implementing and/or migrating content to SharePoint Online in a large, complex environment.
- Gap analysis experience between requirements and new solution capabilities.
- Developing and documenting Transition to Support processes and support material.
- Assisting the Change Manager in material development for successful solution adoption.
- Previous involvement in large IT projects in a complex environment.
- Experience with reporting using Excel and/or Power BI.
- Familiarity with SharePoint and working in an agile environment.
