The Client's projects require the service of Business Change Specialists who have comprehensive Business Change management experience in a complex project environment to understand, plan and deliver effective change to ensure investment benefits. These roles will support projects including modernisation projects/activities and BAU work.
The Business Change Managers will:
- Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities, using change management methodologies to create a strategy to support the change required by a project or initiative
- Support communication through the design, development, delivery and management of key communications
- Support training efforts by providing input, document requirements and supporting the design and delivery of training programs
- Support and engage senior leaders
- Coach people managers and supervisors
- Coordinate efforts with other specialists
- Integrate change management activities into project plans
- Evaluate and ensure user readiness
- Manage stakeholders
- Track and report issues and risks
- Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
- Support the Change Management Practice of the Client including knowledge transfer to staff and other contributions to practice building
- Demonstrated highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in working with stakeholders to influence behavior and to create an understanding of the value of effective change management
- Demonstrated well developed stakeholder management and liaison skills including the ability to represent the Client to external stakeholders to identify and manage expectations and business requirements (preferably within a public sector and/or Australian law enforcement context)
- Exception written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders, manage requirements, and negotiate outcomes with client with differing priorities
- Sound understanding of organisational change management practices
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and inform decision-making at senior levels, to improve business operations aligned with agency goals
- Demonstrated knowledge of operating in an intelligence environment
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens who have the ability to obtain AGSVA Security Clearances prior to commencement.
