Job description

About Us:

UCC Coffee is a leading force in the fresh coffee industry across Australia and New Zealand, dedicated to delivering exceptional quality and taste to coffee lovers. Our commitment to excellence extends from sourcing the finest beans to crafting superior blends.

Join our team and immerse yourself in the vibrant world of coffee, where you'll unlock exciting learning opportunities within our UCC Global business and embrace our rich heritage. We invest in your growth with both national and international exposure, career development, hybrid work options, and yes, free coffee! Plus, we prioritise your wellbeing with initiatives like "recharge leave," giving you five extra days annually to revitalise in your preferred way.

Why join us as our Business Continuity Manager?

This is more than just another compliance role—it's your chance to make a tangible difference by identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational, regulatory, and environmental risks within a growing coffee business. You'll develop and implement robust contingency plans to protect our operations from disruptions and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. While you'll have a strong focus on supporting our Australian operations, your expertise will also extend across ANZ, contributing to the resilience of our entire business.

This role offers a unique opportunity to engage with diverse operations, contribute to projects, and elevate our Business Continuity to new heights. You'll lead crisis management protocols, drive sustainability initiatives, and collaborate closely with cross-functional leaders, enhancing our risk management and Business Continuity standards.

Who are we looking for?

You might be in manufacturing, legal, compliance, or quality management, feeling stuck with no growth opportunities in sight—this could be your chance to leap into the coffee industry! You’ll thrive in our fast-paced environment, balancing commercial savvy with a curious mindset. Your sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with strong stakeholder management, will enable you to collaborate effectively across diverse Australian and New Zealand teams and adapt to evolving market dynamics.

Bringing with you a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Environmental Science, or a related field (CBCP certification preferred) and a few years of hands-on experience, you'll bring a robust understanding of ANZ regulatory requirements. Your expertise in developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, conducting thorough risk assessments, and leading crisis management teams will be crucial for our operational resilience.

Please no recruitment agencies.
