About the role
As a Business Design Advisor, you will provide expert advice, consultation and thought leadership of business initiatives that make a real difference to customer and employee experiences. You will engage directly with the business on their most important and challenging business issues -understanding, addressing and solving their priority operational pain points.
In this role you will work as part of a high performing team with a strong commitment to excellence in pursuit of maximising business performance through operational excellence. Drawing on capabilities in design thinking, process redesign/reengineering, digital and data analytics and the design and deployment of management operating systems.
What you'll do
- Work collaboratively with the business in the diagnostics, planning; future state design and implementation planning on key initiatives, in order to translate business issues, challenges and objectives into meaningful tangible solutions
- Collaborate with counterparts to organise, design, and conduct process optimisation activities
- Act as a key influencer, supporter, and trusted advisor to the Insurance Leadership Team
- Lead improvement initiatives and participate in the re-design of processes and systems that shape the day-to-day workflow and performance across Insurance with the ultimate ambition of winning hearts and minds and supporting a strong continuous improvement culture
What you'll bring
- Demonstrated Continuous Improvement experience with practical knowledge of various tools and techniques to support stakeholders and effectively influence at all levels
- An excellent critical thinker and experienced Thought Leader who possesses strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills
- Experience leading workstreams in continuous improvement initiatives
- Proven experience in process-led strategic business transformation
- Demonstrated experience engaging with management in operational improvement and process excellence
- Excellent ability to work on and speak to complex topics with both technical and non-technical audiences
