Education Sales / Course Advisor

The Opportunity
We are looking for a full-time Course Advisor to assist prospective students, both domestic and International, to plan and start their creative future across two exciting education brands – Sydney Design School and its online partner Interior Design Online.
This varied role is for a self-starter who is an excellent communicator, loves dealing with people and can easily build relationships and soft sell.
The role will be on campus at our studios in North Sydney.
The five key areas of this role are:
Sales enquiries via phone, email, information sessions and open days
Build relationships with Schools and Career Advisors and represent the School at expos
On sell opportunities to our Alumni
Current student retention (on selling to next level/unit)
Meet with prospective students on campus and conduct School tours
You will manage the sales process from initial contact up to interview stage, including liaising with the marketing team regarding collateral and database communications.
You must be able to demonstrate your skills and techniques in converting leads and must also have previous experience using sales tracking software. Analysing and reporting on leads and conversions to the management team is a key component of this position.

Essential Criteria
Demonstrated experience converting leads and using sales tracking software
Exceptional customer service skills and ability to demonstrate high level communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
Ability to demonstrate initiative and work autonomously
Be able to work full time at our campus in North Sydney
Knowledge and understanding of working with agents and the ESOS Legislative Framework including visa requirements for International Students an advantage
