About the role  

The Business Development & Marketing Manager has a national scope and overall responsibility for attracting and retaining referral (and business) flows, by engaging with customers (new & existing) – both directly and indirectly, ensuring that customer needs inform service delivery.   

Reporting to the CEO, the Business Development & Marketing Manager will be a key part of the broader leadership team. You will be hands-on and equally adept at handling the day-to-day activities as you are with developing longer-term strategic objectives.    

What you’ll do: 

• Plan, direct, and execute the sales and Marketing business strategy to achieve revenue and profit targets. 

• Develop and nurture long term positive relationships with new and existing customers, partners and vendors demonstrating a strong focus on customer service.  

• Provide ongoing coaching, support, information and materials for key account managers and staff to support customer relations and referrer engagement across the business.  

• Plan and execute external events including medical/practitioner educational sessions, medical/practitioner luncheons, seminars and industry conferences. 

• Develop and coordinate Business Development and Marketing activities across the business.

About you  

• Degree qualified in relevant discipline (Business, Marketing or Health preferred). 

• At least 5 years’ experience within chosen discipline.  

• Prior experience in a similar position within the health sector.  

• Strong understanding of Business Development and Marketing principals.  

• Demonstrable experience building and motivating a team. 

• Creative thinker who’s ready to shake things up. 

• Excellent communicator whose superpower is building relationships (internal and external).
