We are currently seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Consultant to join the Industry Capability Network (ICN) team at CCIWA. In this role, you will work to secure new clients and ensure the retention of our existing ICNWA client base.
The ICNWA team play a vital role in facilitating connections and supporting local West Australian (WA) suppliers throughout the tender process for significant projects. They also aid in matching WA projects with the most suitable suppliers. ICNWA is part of the Industry Capability Network Australia wide. This is a full-time, permanent position, based in Perth CBD and is available for immediate commencement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Establishing and maintaining a client network spanning major WA projects.
- Identify projects that would benefit from ICNWA services and convert leads.
- Provide industry briefings and seminars on WA project procurement opportunities.
- Represent ICNWA at events, functions and workshops to spotlight our services and broaden our reach.
- Assist buyers and suppliers in identifying the most suitable suppliers for significant WA projects.
About You
To be successful in the role, we are seeking the following:
- Minimum 2 years in a Business Development and/or procurement role with a track record of delivering on KPI’s.
- Outstanding customer service skills with a focus on building lasting client relationships.
- Excellent networking skills with the ability to represent ICN at various events and workshops.
- Provide sales ability, including outstanding negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication skills including oral, written and presentation.
- Capability to build and retain networks across various stakeholders within the ICN network.
- Degree, Diploma or Certificate qualifications in a technical or engineering area (desirable).
- Police Clearance & Drivers License (essential)
