My client is part of a global power house that specialises in the manufacturer and distribution of industry leading gas and Liquid Filtration Products into major industry sectors such as Iron Ore, Critical Minerals, Large Dewatering Presses, Tailings Filtrations, Mining, Oil and Gas and Power Generation. The business has been driving revenue, growth and product advancement across the globe for over 60 years and are continue to expand alongside their parent company who is bringing their capital equipment direct into the Australian market to create your clients with a complete turn key solution which in turn increases your territory revenue.
About The role
With the new direction starting 2024, a key position has become available for an experienced industry expert to cover the WA territory. This is a key position that will see you grow the state as your own and focus on building a name for yourself as the go to person in the industry.
Your product range will consist of Liquid and Gas filtration consumables into the relative industry sectors. You will have a core focus on developing new product line into new areas in WA as well as taking on any aspects of key account management.
The initial focus will be within the Pilbara region, however, you will continue to grow the territory and as you build your area, new opportunities into more senior roles will naturally develop. This will be a highly autonomous role, however you will have technicians and other members of departments to liaise with and work alongside.
- Hunt, Qualify and convert Liquid Filtration Opportunities into Key Accounts
- Liaise with engineers, maintenance teams, and procurement teams to build strong relationships
- Have a proactive approach to implement the companies Liquid and Process Filtration strategies into market
About You
The right candidate for this role will be an individual who has sound knowledge of industrial consumables with a current contact list in the relative industries as well as experience growing and developing large territories.
The below are highly desirable
- Experience working for a Horizontal Filter Press OEM
- A background within filtration, mining or dewatering sales
- Industry and relevant product knowledge
- Connections within the mining or relative industries
- 5 + years of selling within a heavy industrial environment
- Experience with CRM systems
- Experience working within a long sales process
- Experience within Liquid or Process Filtration
