Job description

CSE Uniserve is a leading supplier and integrator of two-way radio and telecommunications products, infrastructure & services. We work with major industrial, government, transport, mining, resources, and utilities across Australia and New Zealand. 

We design, supply and install telecommunications solutions to help our clients keep their workforce safe and manage their most critical assets. CSE Uniserve is part of the CSE Global Group of Companies, operating in over 20 countries and listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange.   

As the Business Development Engineer, you are responsible for executing sales strategies to exceed established sales targets and contribute to the divisional growth plans. You will represent and grow the CSE Utilities portfolio with focus on Networking and Protection & Control portfolio in and around the Sydney area

The requirements of this role include: 

  • Represent and grow the CSE Utilities portfolio in Sydney.
  • Support customers in identifying part numbers, proposing the right device type and device comparisons.
  • Provide technical support to customers by liaising with Factory and internal CSE team.
  • Engage in Tradeshows, Workshops and Trainings related to the portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain the CSE Telecom Lab as required.

You have a keen interest in technology, and have expertise and experience in the power system protection and automation field.  What excites you most is forming strong, value-adding relationships with customers, and potential customers.

You have an innate ability to form strong, long-term relationships with people at all levels of our customer organisations, and you are excited by the opportunity to make a real difference to their business by devising, selling and implementing solutions to tackle their problems.

Other skills and experience include: 

  • A recognised qualification (or suitable experience) in Electrical Engineering (or similar).
  • Demonstrate professionalism and results oriented customer focus.
  • Have proven sales, negotiation and written communications skills.
  • Have technical expertise and experience in the power system protection and automation field.
  • Able to adapt and apply new technology to increase sales and customer’s productivity.
