Business Development Manager/Engineer for a Sustainability SaaS

Join and drive the growth of a global construction life-cycle assessment leading SaaS to multiply the business and positive climate impact we have.We are looking for aBusiness Development Manager/Engineer to join our fast-growing team, working to decarbonise buildings and construction, currently responsible for around 40% of global carbon emissions.We are close to doubling our business each year and you'll be in a pivotal role to make this happen within AEC and Manufacturing sectors. Join us to help grow a business that plays a key role in delivering a zero-carbon future for us all.You will be responsible for identifying customer needs/opportunities and helping them find solutions that will allow them to succeed with our software. This is an outbound sales role, working with our existing and new customers to grow our position in the market. • Focus on sourcing new leads & manage sales for new and existing customers, in the ANZ
• Be part of expanding the offering of LCA and EPD tools in the AEC and Manufacturing sectors
• Keep up to date on developments around LCA and EPD standards, PCRs and practices
• Educate prospects on the value and opportunities of LCA tools, EPD and low-carbon construction
• Support our LCA software product development where needed
• Attend industry events around the ANZ when necessary

What you need:

• Ability and motivation to maximise the potential of assigned accounts

• Motivation to help others succeed and to find solutions to their obstacles
• Preferably an understanding of LCAs and its importance in the construction industry
• Experience on B2B Sales and Account management with a successful track record of growth
• Previous experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
• Fast learning skills and desire to improve constantly, using what works
• Customer- and results-oriented attitude, a hands-on approach and comfortable to communicate with different seniority of stakeholders
• Very good listening skills and ability to see the situation from a client’s perspective
• Fluency in written and spoken English as it is our working language
