World Options is a Global company with headquarters in the UK and operating out of the US, UK, Europe, Singapore, and Australia. We have 16 branches in Australia and are rapidly growing. In the last 5 years the Australian branches have all experienced strong growth, with our Tullamarine branch experiencing significant growth and is now requiring a full-time BDE.
We sell an innovative web tool that gives our customers the choice of transport services through our industry leading online platform for their business requirements. Our customers enter their shipment information and choose from a list of the leading transport service providers and service levels Nationally & Globally to ship their goods.
About the role
As a Business Development Executive you will be responsible for selling World Options services while building trusted relationships with your customers, helping them to improve both their supply chain and service to their customers.
To be successful in this role, you will need the ability to build new client relationships, nurture existing customers and promote the organisations premium service solutions to customers within a large territory. Your key deliverable is achieving assigned new account and revenue objectives.
This role will require interstate travel time to time.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Increase new business revenue and prospecting to build a strong pipeline
- Develop a sales plan that aims to meet and exceed revenue targets
- Partner closely with our key partners to drive further business through collaboration with clients
- Utilise our CRM sales tool to ensure all customers data and opportunities are captured, managed and actioned to meet targets
- Build strong working relationships with our team internally
Experience Required
- Previous face to face sales experience is required.
- Demonstrated ability to source, manage and close sales transactions over the phone or face to face
- Sales experience in the supply chain/freight industry (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft suite of products
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
- Proven ability to build, develop and maintain relationships with clients
- A current drivers licence and reliable vehicle (essential)
