Our Customer division is essential for engaging with our audience to deliver service line stories. This includes content creation, campaign strategy, market research and insights, digital projects, creative designs, social media presence, and supporting sales through lead generation and customer service.
About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager - Business Development, the Executive Manager - Business Development is responsible for leading the Business Development team, delivering a strategic and effective function that contributes to positive outcome for the Y Victoria. As the manager of the Business Development team you will ensures the Business Development strategy is effective, the pipeline of future opportunities is well managed, and our tenders meet all stakeholder objectives. Responsibilities include:
- Provide highly visible and strategic leadership for the Partnerships team
- Identify new agreed target markets are well communicated to all stakeholders and used in the decision making process for new business tenders
- Coordinate the development of technical information appropriate for each proposal
- Ensure technical information is presented in easy to understand formats that can be effectively used by the Business Development team
- Lead and/or conduct initial assessments of new prospects in line with the agreed Growth Strategy
- Ensure the business modelling for new business facilitates the delivery of quality programming and service delivery and ensures appropriate financial assumptions and resources
- Prepare and review the commercial aspects of tenders, ensuring all products / services are included in the final price to the customer
This is a permanent full time role. Hybrid working model, working from home and from the Box Hill Office one to two days a week. The remuneration for this role is $169,327 (inclusive of super).
About You
The successful applicant will be extremely well versed in Business Development/Sales Management with a strong commercial awareness. With a Engaging and energetic leadership style you will have the ability to drive a growth and change mindset among their team. Ket requirements include:
- Excellent Business Development and/or sales management skills, specifically managing an end[1]to-end sales process.
- Very strong project management and planning skills
- Prior experience managing sales function via CRM and Lead Management tools
- Very good written communication skills
- Very strong time management skills, able to delegate, prioritise and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant Post Graduate degree is desirable
