We are seeking a highly self-motivated Business Development Executive with a strong background in new Business Development within the cleaning industry. The ideal candidate will be proactive, passionate about sales, and dedicated to surpassing targets. Your responsibilities will include identifying new business prospects, devising and executing innovative sales and promotional strategies, and cultivating relationships with business partners to foster growth.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in new Business Development, preferably in the cleaning industry.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to strategize and plan effectively across sales process management, forecasting, and new product development.
- Experience in preparing and submitting tenders is desirable.
- Ability to generate new business for our company.
What you need to succeed
- Demonstrated track record of achievements in Business Development and sales in the commercial cleaning services industry or a related field.
- knowledge of the commercial cleaning services sector, encompassing industry trends, key market players, and customer requirements.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling the establishment of rapport and credibility with clients across all levels.
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and presentation proficiencies.
- Results-driven mindset with a proven capacity to meet or surpass sales targets.
- Self-motivated and proactive, capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient in relevant sales tools.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to undertake local travel as needed.
Responsibilities
- Identify and target prospective clients from diverse industries who can leverage the benefits of our commercial cleaning services.
- Employ a combination of cold calling and in person methods to generate new business opportunities.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to gain insights into customer requirements, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within the target organisations.
- Devise and execute innovative sales strategies and tactics to effectively accomplish business objectives.
- Present our company's services, unique value proposition, and competitive advantages in a compelling manner to potential clients.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and skilfully negotiate contracts.
- Attend client meetings, networking events, connect, and influence stakeholders, and maximise lead potential.
- Collaborate closely with the operations team to ensure a seamless transition and consistently deliver high-quality services.
- Stay proactive by monitoring market dynamics, soliciting customer feedback, and staying abreast of industry developments to identify new growth opportunities and areas of improvement.
