Role Overview:
The Business Development Manager will manage the relationship with key consultants, end users, and large system integrators to generate demand for Bose Professional Products in the Australia territory. The Business Development Manager is responsible for achieving the following goals:
- Account management of the distributors in the appointed territory
- Delivering sales objectives
- Market development activities
- Reporting
Business development activities
- Have knowledge and understanding of key projects & local market development
- Building relation with key influencers for specifications – consultants, architects, engineering companies, end users
- Building relation with large project developers in territory to translate information to demand.
- Building portfolio of prospects and develop to sales in collaboration with the Distributor or reseller
- Using marketing assets and activities to support this Business Development
- Define with Regional Director market potential and specific activities
- Supporting fairs and other lead generating activities
- Estimated territories are: Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia
- Effectively supports the distribution channel to translate demand to revenue in close coordination with the distributor/resellers.
- Provide Distributor with business leads and sales support
- Regular reporting of activities and business outlook to Regional Sales Director
- Weekly update of project portfolio and related activities in Microsoft dynamics CRM tool
- Meet, and where possible, exceed specifications and revenue targets, set for both the distributor and area totals
- Support achievement of division targets for Bose professional
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales/Business Development of AV or related products
- Have solid business network with various consultants/end users/architects/engineering companies in the territory
- Excellent knowledge of English, written & spoken.
- Pro-active work attitude, with good communication & presentation skills
- Experience with sales of technical products in a project sales process
- Customer driven mindset
- Willing to travel up to 50% of the time
- Technical knowledge of audio products
- Experience in the professional audio industry
