- Conduct RFP process with the business and identified System integration partners.
- Create and maintain a detailed project plan including all project activities, resources, goals, objectives, scope, assumptions, constraints, dependencies, functional and technical requirements.
- Ensure maximum business value of scheduled work; ability to define business and technical requirements and translate them into workable Epics and User Stories and ensure timely delivery of the backlog items.
- Collaborate with business and IT leads to obtain the necessary project resources to deliver the project.
- Provide full visibility and transparency on project risks and mitigation strategies, and clearly communicate resourcing, planning and budgetary risks and issues to key stakeholders.
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of the project from scoping through to embedding.
- Track project progress to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, meeting business requirements and in compliance with project management methodologies and standards.
- Manage thorough quality assurance checks to ensure that websites meet established standards for functionality, performance, and usability.
- Manage the troubleshooting and resolution of any defects identified during testing, ensuring that the final product meets or exceeds expectations.
- Perform regular project reporting including reporting on schedule, budget, scope, quality, risks, issues, dependencies, team, stakeholders, and benefits.
- Promote the consistent adoption and implementation of project and program management methodologies across Orica.com replacement project.
- Monitor and control resources, revenue and capital costs against the project budget and ensure project is delivered with minimal variances from the forecast.
- Take full responsibility for the definition, documentation, and successful completion of the project, ensuring that realistic project, quality, change control and risk management processes are maintained.
- Serve as the primary business facing contact for the assigned project during all project phases.
- Consult with the PMO Lead to schedule and resource projects sufficiently to meet the project demand.
- Escalate decisions to the PMO Lead, as required to start, stop, and pass through key project stage gates.
- Manage project-related vendors throughout the vendor lifecycle from appointment through to disengagement and regular performance management.
- Consult with Lead Solution Architects to gain technical insight into the solutions to contribute to the development of project plans.
- Tertiary qualified
- PMP and Agile Certifications
- 7+ years' experience in a Project Management function
- 7+ years' experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SLDC) specially in an Agile environment
- Prior experience in managing the development of websites and mobile apps.
- Strong digital project delivery experience.
- Excellent project management skills including budget, benefit, schedule, and team management skills.
- Demonstrate excellent internal communication skills, providing clear and concise briefs to the strategy, creative and technical teams.
- Demonstrate good business acumen and understanding of project profitability, team profitability and utilisation.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and an ability to maintain good working relationships.
