About the role:
As a Business Development Manager at Carbar, your role is to drive the growth of the company by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and implementing effective Business Development strategies.
Responsibilities:
● Identifying and gaining new business opportunities. Whether that’s through your current network of contacts, both cold and digital calling approaches, responding to inbound inquiries as well as other lead generation techniques.
● Cultivating strong relationships with current and potential customers, partners, and stakeholders to establish strategic partnerships and drive business opportunities.
● Developing and executing Business Development strategies to expand market reach and achieve business growth.
● Representing the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness.
● Working closely with other business departments to align Business Development efforts with overall company goals and ensure seamless execution of initiatives.
● Tracking and analysing sales data, performance metrics, and market insights to evaluate the effectiveness of Business Development strategies and identify areas for improvement.
● Collaborating with the management team to develop sales forecasts, set budgets, and contribute to the overall financial planning and strategy.
Our Ideal Candidate:
● Proven experience in Business Development specifically within the automotive industry. Knowledge of novated leasing, subscription/car rental, fleet management or related sectors is highly advantageous.
● Demonstrated track record in driving sales, managing accounts, and closing deals within the automotive industry, specifically in one of the novated lease or car rental markets.
● Experience in establishing strategic partnerships within the B2B space, rental agencies, or other key players in the industry. Ability to negotiate contracts and develop mutually beneficial relationships.
● Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
● Strong analytical skills to assess market data, sales metrics, and financial information related to potential business markets. Ability to identify trends, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
● Ability to meet deadlines and achieve set targets.
● Process-driven and proactive with strong initiative.
● Highly self-motivated, resilient, and problem-solving oriented.
