BDM needed to join this new breed of lenders armed with tech and analytical tools offering a tailored approach to small business finance.
As a Desktop BDM, you will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing the efforts of our on-the-road BDMs and bolstering relationships within our broker network. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and cultivate relationships from a centralized desktop position, ensuring efficient coordination with field BDMs and internal sales teams whilst providing key support to our broker network.
Broker Network Support:
- Collaborate closely with on-the-road BDMs to understand their client interactions and requirements.
- Provide timely and accurate information to brokers, addressing inquiries and offering assistance in product understanding and application processes.
- Act as a liaison between the internal teams and brokers, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with broker partners, serving as the main point of contact for all partner-related activities for Business Lending, Asset Finance and Insurance once handed over by the on-the-road BDM team
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise with broker partners in a timely and professional manner, escalating when necessary.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the broker partnership program, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing best practices.
- CRM updates and entries
- Lead generation via third party referrals
- Responding to all inbound inquiries in a prompt and professional manner by phone and email
- Any other reasonable responsibilities required by the role
- Conduct proactive outreach to existing and potential clients through phone, email, and other digital channels.
- Educate clients on product offerings, benefits, and promotions to stimulate interest and drive business growth.
- Collaborate with field BDMs to develop tailored strategies for client engagement and retention.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape.
- Provide insights and feedback to the management team based on market research and analysis to enhance overall business strategy.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a Business Development or sales support role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with financial products and services is a plus.
- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
