Our organisation is growing to a $100 million enterprise through a clear plan and large-scale contracts. As such, we have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our team in Brendale, only 30 minutes from Brisbane CBD.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to help drive the next phase of growth and positively impact our organisation. You will receive an attractive remuneration package circa $200,000 + super and additional incentives ($300,000 OTE). You will also be provided with a company car or vehicle allowance, mobile phone, laptop and all equipment necessary to support your work. Relocation assistance is offer for the right candidate.

Please note: This position will require you to travel, predominantly throughout Queensland, but potentially nationally and internationally where required. Trips will be based on a fly-in-fly-out (FIFO) basis, and all travel costs will be compensated.

You will be responsible for seeking out new opportunities and achieving core financial and strategic objectives relating to the overall success of our organisation. This will be achieved through the delivery of business development strategic plans while also contributing to the company strategy as part of the Executive team.

To thrive in this role, you will have demonstrated experience working in solutions-based business development and relationship building at the executive and board levels. Moreover, you will possess a strong understanding of the Mining, Engineering and Manufacturing industries.

Working largely autonomously, you must be a proactive individual who is self-driven, results-oriented and able to achieve and exceed business development and growth targets.

You will be a team player and be able to communicate in a confident and effective manner to a wide range of stakeholders, including prospects, clients and other team members at all levels of the organisation.
