Specialising in delivering high-quality lighting products and services tailored to meet the unique needs of architects & designers (A&D) and electrical engineers. They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to drive sales.About the Role
You will manage, create and build on opportunities for growth. As a BDM you will be pivotal for driving growth and expanding market presence. You will be collaborating closely with architect, designers, builders and electricians to promote new products and services. Creating strong relationships and identifying new opportunities for partnership.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales materials, presentations, and proposals tailored to the needs of architects, designers, and builders.
- Lead product training and support to architects, designers, builders and electricians to enhance their understanding and promote the benefits of our offerings.
- Manage sales performance, analyse data and generate reports to track progress against targets and identify areas for growth.
- Proven track record of success in Business Development, sales, or account management, preferably within the lighting design industry.
- Deep understanding of the A&D community, project lifecycles, and specification processes.
- Degree in Interior Design or Electrical Engineering an advantage but not required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to deliver engaging presentations and proposals.
- Competitive salary $110k - $130k (DOE) + Car Allowance + uncapped commission + Super
