About the Opportunity
In this role, you will be responsible for building and fostering strong relationships within your existing portfolio of mortgage brokers while seeking to expand your networks within the broker community. Reporting to the Head of Home Lending & Broker Distribution, key responsibilities include:
Managing and building relationships with a portfolio of mortgage brokers
Identifying and resolving key stakeholder challenges through effective communication and negotiation skills
Supporting our network of brokers by providing ongoing support, training and advice relating to business and credit challengers
Supporting broader business initiatives to enhance business performance and customer satisfaction
Planning territory plans and CRM strategy aligning with business objectives
About You
We are seeking someone who has the following qualifications, skills and experience:
Tertiary qualification in banking / finance / economics preferred but not essential
3+ years’ experience in residential mortgage lending & sales
Prior expertise in establishing effective working relationships with brokers, credit departments and clients
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal and relationship skills
Prior Business Development experience highly regarded
