Our client is a residential building supplier seeking to appoint an experienced and driven Business Development Manager with experience in B2B sales to join their team.You will be identifying new business opportunities as well as developing and expanding on their existing client base within the residential building industry.
Your role will be to continually monitor the market and competitor activity to identify upcoming projects opportunities and from there promote the companies brand, products and services to secure the business.
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to expand the companies presence in the residential building market
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to drive brand awareness and revenue growth
- Analise market trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies
- Prepare and present detailed business proposals and reports to senior management
- Autonomous role where you have the freedom to manage your own success, partnering closely with the business Director where required.
- 3-5+ years working experience in a sales/BDM role with a proven ability to generate new leads and secure new clients
- Previous experience in B2B sales for a building supplier - preferably roofing
- Strong communication and negotiation skills both face to face and over the phone
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a drive to succeed
