As a Business Development Manager - Equipment and Asset Finance within Commercial Broker, you will proactively manage relationships and meet customer needs by providing financial solutions through the most cost effective and appropriate channels.
As an experienced Business Banker you will contribute to the generation of new Equipment & Asset Finance volumes from accredited Brokers. You will be ultimately accountable for the financial performance, asset quality and portfolio return, including new revenue, pipeline management, maximisation of cross sell and achievement of targets.
The role:
- Manage and develop a portfolio of customers
- Implement strategies and identify opportunities for new customer acquisition
- Maintain and enhance the credit risk profile and profitability of the portfolio
- Maximise internal and external networks
- Assess economic value and risk potential of new business
- Implement annual business plans for the customer portfolio
- Writing and approving deals within your delegated authority
- Ensure lease quotes, documentation and all tasks are completed promptly and accurately
- Lead, coach and develop team members
About you:
- Strong business banking background
- Knowledge of Equipment & Asset Finance products
- A strong understanding of the end-to-end lending process
- Results-driven with exceptional customer service
- Strong communication, relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Tertiary qualifications in banking, business, finance or commerce preferred
