My client is a world leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of mobile lighting and power solutions are looking to recruit a Territory Manager for The Hunter Region, Tasmania and Victoria.
Offering a large range of Lighting Towers, Generators & Engines into Mining, Civil and Construction.
The role:
- Identify and develop business opportunities and relationships with new and existing accounts
- Meet monthly and annual sales targets
- Negotiate technical and commercial details and present solutions to meet the customers' needs
- In line with the sales teams existing market strategy develop appropriate relationships with customers and key accounts with the objective to increase overall market share
- Ensure appropriate order handling of products, systems, IP and services
- Appropriately handle, and escalate as necessary, unexpected situations and solve in a timely manner
- Ensure all pipeline opportunities are appropriately managed using internal BI platforms
- Prepare analysis of current market trends and projected forecasts
- Gain customer traction for relevant marketing campaigns, initiatives and new product introductions for revenue growth
- Proven experience in delivery outcomes in previous sales role with technical aptitude
- Ability to fast track product knowledge
- Possess excellent interpersonal presentation and communicational skills
- Well-developed planning and time management skills, with the ability to work independently
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical and business concepts and express them in clear language
- Well-developed skills in CRM, office computing applications including Office 365
- Flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously within compressed time frames whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail
- Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering (desirable)
