The company seeks a highly driven, professional and approachable individual to take on a mixed role in Business Development and Customer Relations. This is a newly created role with an opportunity to make it your own.
The successful candidate will show skills in identifying new business opportunities, have a strong sales track record, excellent customer service and relationship building skills, and will have experience in industrial supply and an ability to provide technical knowledge.
Starting date and work-from-home flexibility is available to the right candidate.
The role will require regular monthly travel to our regional NSW facility and quarterly interstate travel to clients and tradeshows across Australia.
You will work closely with the Managing Director and Sales Manager based in Narrabri through our established remote workspace.
The role will involve:
Generating leads and liaising with prospective customers
Developing opportunities in target markets both domestic and export
Nurturing relationships with key customers
Attending industry events and face-to-face meetings with clients
Providing specialist advice on our products and brand
Working closely with our CEO and Sales and Production Managers to achieve strategic targets.
Developing and updating policies and processes for resellers and customers

Solid relationship management experience

Professional and well-organised
Intermediate Microsoft office and ERP skills
Experience in industrial and engineering supply to mining, agriculture and earthmoving industries.
Current full drivers licence
Favourable
Sheetmetal manufacturing experience
Solidworks or similar CAD knowledge/experience
