Siemens Smart Infrastructure is currently searching for an experienced Business Development Professional to drive business development activities across QLD and NSW. You will ensure a healthy sales pipeline, build relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive the business strategy. This is a key role within the Siemens Smart Infrastructure business, and demands an individual who has a positive, energetic, motivational, and collaborative attitude. You will lead a culture of ownership, with our people and the customer at the core.

Key responsibilities in the role will be:
  • Actively develop future business through market presence and communication of Siemens value propositions
  • Participate in co creation activities with consultants, developers, building owners and managers to position Siemens as a valued partner in new developments
  • Plan sales volumes and potential of target customers
  • Provide information via CRM for forecasts and planning
  • Analyze and evaluates markets (both technology and product portfolio) and needs of potential or existing customers
  • Investigate and evaluates specific business opportunities for the customer related product and service portfolio
  • Prepare customer contacts, builds and maintains a customer focused network
  • Prepare and negotiates projects and proposals in cooperation with other involved professionals and management
  • Coordinate the realization of assignments, may coordinate and contribute to set up respective product developments, projects or services programs for the customer
  • Complete sales and revenue related key reporting
  • Contribute to the development of an After Sales Service that is focused on customers' needs

To be considered for this role you will have several years of proven experience in selling complex solutions with the real estate technology or building controls technology environment, understanding the needs and language of the customer.
