CLIENT 

My client is one of Australis leading attachment and associated equipment suppliers for the Australia Civil and demolition markets. They have been up and running for over 8 years and they have been growing slowly but after the opening of the new premise which offers a larger operation and the ability to cover customers throughout all of NSW, VIC, TAS and South Australia. This is the first step in the new growth of the business and they are looking to expand carefully but professionally. 

POSITION 

In the is newly created role you’re going to be targeting the major construction, civil and demolition fleets and looking to secure the account through exceptional Business Development and proven customer service. Competition is very fierce in the Sydney markets so you will need to be able to create relationships with many different types of clients and cultures. If you going to say you can deliver a machine and at that price you need to deliver and give your word. The industry is built around exceptional delivery and your promise. If you can’t do what you say your career will be challenging from day 1. This requires someone that is an exceptional sales skills and is proven self-motivated revenue generator along with excellent skills in building relationships.  

Key Requirements 

  • Demonstration of new equipment – Pointing out benefits and qualities over competitor’s equipment.
  • Manage a successful territory and maximise growth through new Business Development.
  • Provide up-to-date marketing material of service and aftermarket parts.
  • Build key relationships within the above markets. 
  • Manage existing relationships and look to return old customers. 
  • Give quotations on products and services
  • Undertake new ideas from management and look at new ways to create revenue.
  • Review market conditions and maximise growth through new projects 
  • Travel throughout Sydney & ACT and develop relationships to build upon your customers 

You’re going to be required to sell a Varity or products this will allow you target customers from a number of industries but also allows you to become a specialist. 

  • Hydraulic rock Hammers
  • Ground Engaging Tools 
  • Demolition Attachments
  • Earthmoving buckets & Quick Hitches 
  • Wear Plating 
  • Track pads and Tracks 

 Candidate Key requirements

  • Proven sales experience 
  • Good time keeping & Well organised 
  • Ability to create new business from a cold calling
  • Proven success in external sales
  • Willingness to travel
  • You need to bring something to the sales team that no one else has. 

Salary Package 

On offer is base salary ranging from $110,000 + fully maintained company car + 11 superannuation + phone and laptop + Uncapped commission structure, Full training is given plus regular development from management and other leaders in the business.
