Established in 2012, Transwest Fuels have been leading the way in bulk fuel distribution in the Tamworth region. Due to ongoing growth within our business, we are hiring a passionate, experienced sales representative to join our team in the North West to drive sales specifically in bulk fuel.

You will have the exciting opportunity to support our existing clients and further develop a client base for the supply of fuel and lubricants, along with promoting other services Transwest offers in the market.

Ideally, you will have already established relationships in the agricultural, heavy vehicle, industrial industries.

Requirements:

This role will suit highly motivated and proactive individuals who are committed to achieving results. The role will involve travelling to engage with prospective and existing clients throughout the region, focussing on Tamworth, Quirindi, Gunnedah and expanding to the West. As a Business Development Manager your focus will be on sales of bulk fuels & lubricants to businesses. 

Your responsibilities will cover:

  • Building & maintaining client relationships in fuel and lubricant sales
  • Working closely with the company directors to meet KPIs
  • Develop and action key sales management plans
  • Engagement in sales training and development programs 

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be self motivated and target driven
  • Have clear, professional communication skills, and good computer skills.
  • Work well autonomously and within in a team with a positive attitude.
  • Be able to demonstrate strong success in a rural focussed sales role.
  • Be committed to growing a business through adding value to our clients and demonstrate an ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Be committed to making a positive contribution to our existing team, to listen, learn and positively communicate with your colleagues and clients.
  • Be enthusiastic, positive and willing to roll your sleeves up to get the job done.
