Come join Sydney’s favourite family-owned recycling and resource recovery company Breen Resources. Due to our growing business, we are looking to expand our Sales team with a new sales rep supporting our expansion plans and supporting Australia’s circular economy.
Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager, the Sales Representative is responsible for supporting existing client relationships and developing new business.
If you’re looking for a hands-on client focused role that allows you to be on the road 90% of the time chasing leads and interacting with clients from small and medium businesses located around Sydney, then this is the role for you. The objective is to increase the business revenue by attracting additional volumes of material coming to site.
Responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities and build your pipeline
- Grow new opportunities within the existing customer base
- Meet KPI's for bonus
- 1 day in the office, 4 days on the road
- Be passionate about sales and drive business growth
- Be comfortable on sites communicating with new people
- Produce quotes for new and existing clients, register interactions in the CRM system
- Work as a team to accomplish individual and team targets
Skills & Experience
- Experience in B2B sales
- Commercial mindset and ability to think outside the box.
- Reliable work ethic and driven attitude to succeed.
- Strong time management, organisational and prioritising skills
- Proficiency in Word, Excel and CRM’s systems
- Knowledge of the Greater Metropolitan Area of Sydney
- Great Customer Service and relationship skills
- Experience in the waste industry will be highly regarded
To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record of building a clientele base and servicing new and existing customers, and demonstrate the following:
- Minimum 3 years work experience in commercial environment
- Excellent Customer Service and demonstrated capability to close a deal.
- Self-starter who can operate autonomously.
- Background from the Waste Industry is an advantage but not essential.
