ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for sourcing and engaging new business to support in filling the racking of a newly opened warehouse within the South East of Perth, WA. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone within sales, with a strong background in warehousing to enhance their career.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Identify opportunities to enhance business and support with business growth
- Plan, cost and negotiate new business proposals
- Cold-calling for new business
- Relationship management
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Solution focused
- Strong time management skills
- Negotiation skills
- The ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Minimum 2 years experience in sales, marketing and / or Business Development within Supply Chain and Logistics
- Experience within Account / Customer management
- Experience in providing end-to-end supply chain solutions within a 3PL environment
- Extensive knowledge / experience within warehousing
- A tertiary qualification in a related field
