ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for sourcing and engaging new business to support in filling the racking of a newly opened warehouse within the South East of Perth, WA. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone within sales, with a strong background in warehousing to enhance their career. 
  
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Providing exceptional customer service
• Identify opportunities to enhance business and support with business growth
• Plan, cost and negotiate new business proposals
• Cold-calling for new business
• Relationship management 

PERSONAL ATTIRBUTES: 

• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Solution focused
• Strong time management skills
• Negotiation skills
• The ability to build and maintain strong relationships

ESSENTIAL:

• Minimum 2 years experience in sales, marketing and / or Business Development within Supply Chain and Logistics
• Experience within Account / Customer management
• Experience in providing end-to-end supply chain solutions within a 3PL environment
• Extensive knowledge / experience within warehousing

  HIGHLY DESIRABLE:

• A tertiary qualification in a related field
