Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the Business Development Specialist is tasked with ensuring sales targets are met monthly by way of solution-selling our Standards and/or Regulatory suite of subscription products.
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate;
- A proven ability to be a dedicated hunter, who can close deals with consistency and in a timely manner.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively, fostering positive relationships with external customers and colleagues across the Intertek global network of offices.
- Delivery of outstanding customer service, showcasing confidence, persuasion, and strong interpersonal abilities.
- Effective communication skills, showcasing confident presentation skills to convey ideas and information persuasively.
The responsibilities of this role will include but are not limited to, achieving monthly sales quotas through outbound prospecting, converting inbound marketing-generated leads, and actively participating in relevant trade shows, events, and inter-business divisions.
This role is suited to candidates located in Sydney, Melbourne or Perth who can attend our offices located here. Flexible/Hybrid working arrangements are also available. Candidates should be fluent in written and oral use of the English language.
