They are currently looking for a Business Intelligence Developer to join their exciting team to working on interesting projects to improve the business processes
Your new role
Reporting to the Business Intelligence Manager, you will deliver accurate and informative reporting using appropriate tools for business decision making. Your responsibility is to maintain and improve the data warehouse and other internal databases.
You will also be responsible for:
- Designing data analysis and reporting solutions to respond to specific business needs.
- Designing, implementing, maintaining, and improving PowerBI and Cognos reporting solutions.
- Writing complex SQL queries using T-SQL and Informix SQL
- Creating and maintaining ETL solutions using Microsoft SSIS, SQL Server, Azure Logic Apps and other relevant tools.
- Providing strategic guidance and recommendations for business strategy and tactical improvement via dashboards, reports and briefings on data analysis trends.
- Creating excel based reports
- Ensuring accuracy and consistency of data
- Identifying trends and opportunities to improve the business
What you'll need to succeed
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Experience developing reporting solutions using PowerBI, Cognos, or Similar
- Advanced query skills with T-SQL (Required)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Advanced analytical skills and ability to translate data to business contexts
- Experience with Logic Apps and/or SQL Server Integration Services
- Experience with Pronto-Xi ERP or Similar
- Excellent stakeholder and communication skills
- A positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn new skills
