ABOUT THE ROLE:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Intelligence Specialist within our Digital and Technology services. We are seeking a skilled individual to join our dynamic team. As a Power BI Specialist, you will play a critical role across different aspects of Business Intelligence, from administering our Power BI environment to developing semantic data models, creating visualizations, and working with the team to uplift our Power BI Capability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development: Design and develop Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models to meet business requirements.
- Administration: Manage Power BI tenant settings, including user access, security roles, and data gateways.
- Assurance: Perform data validation and quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of reports. creation of standards, policies, patterns, and efficiencies across our BI platforms.
- Collaboration: Partner with business users and IT teams to gather requirements, create data models, and deliver impactful visualizations.
- Training and Support: Provide guidance and training to end-users on Power BI functionalities and best practices.
ABOUT YOU :
We're looking for someone with a passion for data and analytics, great communication skills, and a strong solution-focused attitude. The following background and experience is required:
- Proven experience with Power BI at an enterprise level.
- Demonstrated background driving the creation of standards, policies, patterns, and efficiencies across the Business Intelligence platforms.
- Excellent communication skills with strong stakeholder management abilities.
- Highly motivated with a solution-focused attitude.
- Knowledge of other BI tools such as Qlik Sense and SAP BW are an advantage.
