The Business Intelligence Solutions team of the Performance Monitoring and Reporting unit within Strategy and Performance branch is seeking an acting Manager. The successful candidate for this role will play an important part of crucial team functions and be the first point of contact for branch enquiries.

About the Role
Responsibilities include:
- Lead and manage analysis and interpretation of early childhood and education data to support quality decision making at all systemic levels of service delivery.
- Lead and manage projects in line with the strategic direction and activities of the early childhood and education sector as defined in priorities set by senior management.
- Identify and make recommendations to senior management on performance issues impacting on the early childhood and education system as a result of operational, state or national policies.
- Prepare and review performance reports, discussion papers, briefing notes, Ministerial and executive management correspondence on a range of complex and sensitive issues.

About You
Our ideal applicant will have strengths in:
- Leading and managing a high performing team, including the associated financial and physical resources to achieve established goals and objectives within time and cost limitations.
- Leading and managing specialist database warehouse, report and application developers to deliver Business Intelligence products and services compliant with ICT frameworks, methodologies and policies in line with the strategic direction and activities of the branch.
- Leading and managing enterprise and branch systems administration.
- Leading, developing and implementing product/design evaluations, risk assessments, process modelling, messaging, interface design, security and application integration and supporting standards, guidelines, strategies and processes for the effective and efficient management of branch ICT systems and interfaces.
- Identifying potential and immediate problems and developing and negotiating proposals to formulate effective solutions to manage complex structural, performance and interface issues with departmental and branch ICT systems and processes.
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships, delivering contemporary products and processes through a co-design approach.
- Representing the branch at ICT governance committees to advocate for systems changes that support branch operational and strategic activities.
