About us

Tjiwarl Contracting Services Pty Ltd (TCS) is part of the Tjiwarl Aboriginal Corporation (AC) group of companies purposed for public benefit working for the benefit of the collective membership. Our goal being to strive to fulfil the aspirations of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): there is no Plan B because there is no Planet B. TCS is a small and growing company with most of its work based in the Northern Goldfields. TCS has established itself through recent joint ventures and commercial arrangements which will unlock growth in a diversified portfolio. 

Position Summary

  • You report to the Managing Director. 
  • Manage operations of subsidiary companies and delivering on contracts/agreements. 
  • Deploying strategies to ensure the company’s growth through the joint ventures and other partnerships.
  • Generating financial and other reports at a project level.
  • Setting up resources as required for TCS and its subsidiaries.
  • Managing and retaining relationships with existing client.
  • Establish and manage systems of each of the subsidiaries and TCS as the holding company,
  • Policies and procedures upkeep and updated. 
  • Undertake minutes & execute actions of boards of subsidiaries.
  • May work from home one day /week per our Policy.
  • Produce reports for the holdings and subsidiary companies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, legal, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in relevant field.
  • Proficient ability and proven track record managing projects within complex operations.
  • Execution and delivering on contracts.
  • Good administrative capabilities.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and project management tools such as Gantt Charts,
  • Previous experience on the mines or industry would be an advantage.
  • Ability to produce comprehensive reports at project and board level.

  • Must be willing to travel to regional WA as required.

  • Self starter and shows initiative.
  • Understanding and ability to operationalise joint ventures and business contracts.
  • Having an in-depth knowledge of how to build the business for each project and energise the value proposition with our capability partners.
  • High financial and business acumen.
  • Ability to work with key stakeholders in the mining and industry sector.
  • Must be outcomes driven and high work ethic.
  • Ability to work efficiently and bring your expertise to support the company and its subsidiaries.
  • Transparent, continuous communication and information flow is vital.

Clearances (Mandatory)

Ability to pass pre-employment and as required medical assessments, drug, and alcohol screening.

Currently have or are able to apply for a National Police Clearance.

Have a valid Drivers Licence. 

Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residence.

Proof of Degree and Academic Transcripts.

Currently have or are able to apply for a Working with Children Checks.
