The Business Process Analyst works in a team delivering improved Business Process management to help manage, sustain, and improve optimised Business Processes enabled by the RAPID solution.
The role has responsibility to comprehensively model the future-state processes at the operational level. This responsibility includes drafting appropriate process deliverables that are practical for use and accessible by Process Stewards to help manage and improve processes. This work will also inform the drafting of process documentation (operational procedures etc) by technical writers on the program team.
About the Role:
A key function of the role is to produce process maps in Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN v2.0) for the future-state operational processes that support the services being transformed under the Service Delivery (SDT) Program. The deliverables will include process decompositions, process maps and process specifications.
The role will involve process analysis when reviewing and interrogating the inputs to the operational process models - existing process architecture, future-state standardised processes, and workflows and business rules in the enabling technology.
The role will also involve engagement with program team members, such as Business Analysts, for inputs to process models, and business stakeholders to elicit feedback on process deliverables.
The Business Process stream has revised its delivery plan for 2024 and requires this role during Feb-June 2024 to accelerate progress.
For the Business Process workstream component, the program team is undertaking initiatives to optimise Business Processes and help embed the approved Business Process Framework. Key aspects already delivered include a process architecture, process modelling standards and 'standardised' future-state processes designed in consultation with stakeholders. To support change management and help embed new processes after system go-live, current activity is underway to specify operational processes, draft process documentation and implement improved process management.
