With rapid growth through client referrals and business acquisitions, our current team of 45 people based in our Parramatta, Penrith & Philippines offices, along with an extensive partner network providing ProYou with the varied and successful approach to provide high quality business advice.

We are thrilled to invite exceptional individuals into our ever-growing team as a Business Service Manager. You will play a pivotal role in helping our firm continue its growth trajectory, giving our clients peace of mind that their tax and financial affairs are in order and advising them in helping their businesses grow too.

For this current position we are ideally looking for someone who can:

• Effectively manage workflow to meet client and lodgement deadlines;
• Delegate to, and review work of, appropriate team members;
• Provide technical training and support to team members;
• Answer client and other stakeholder queries of both a technical and general nature;
• Prepare financial statements, income tax returns and other tax compliance submissions for all types of entities as required;
• Identify value-add opportunities for clients, the company and its network partners; and
• Make decisions and carry out action consistent with the company's Principles.

We envisage that you will have the following required skills:

• Completed your post graduate qualifications e.g. CAANZ or CPA;
• 10 + years experience;
• Strong technical tax knowledge;
• Experience in providing excellent customer service; and
• Demonstrated a willingness to learn and be proactive.

Technical abilities we look for in a ProYou person:

• Strong accounting foundation: You have a strong background in accounting and the ability to put those foundations towards becoming a future business advisor or being an expert in your field. We believe that there is always something to be learnt in all aspects of the business and we are open to helping broaden knowledge in your chosen career path.
• An eye for the details: You will have an eye for the details and possess analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strategic thinking: Accounting isn’t always about the numbers; it’s about understanding the bigger picture. An ability to think strategically and interpret financial data to assist our clients sets you apart.
• Technology abilities: As a rapid decision making and fast-growing firm, we are always looking for new and innovative ways to best use technology to improve our business and processes. Understanding the current software packages in the market/soon to be in market and how to confidently use these packages, is something we look for in a team member.
