Our Business Services division provides a whole realm of associated Business Services and advice to small businesses; from business set-up, compliance, financial and management reporting, to business and tax-effective strategies.

Role

We are looking for an experience and high calibre Business Services accountant to join the Business Services division; in our Melbourne office.

Duties will include:

• Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts.
• Preparing FBT returns and payroll tax returns
• Preparing Activity Statements
   

Candidate
You must have good knowledge in small business accounting and tax technical skills with demonstrable knowledge in providing general and specific accounting, taxation and business structuring advice.

Qualifications and Experience required:

• A minimum 4 years' experience in Business Services within an Australian public practice environment
• Tertiary Accounting qualifications
• CA/CPA qualified or near completion
• Excellent taxation knowledge
• Excellent Xero/XPM knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to lead and learn.

Remuneration will be commensurate with experience - package comprises salary and bonus.
