AddressWe are a young and dynamic boutique accounting firm based on the City fringe. Due to high growth, the firm is currently seeking an experienced Intermediate Accountant to work closely with the partners, staff and its existing client base. We offer a competitive salary based on experience.

The Position
The Candidate will be responsible to assist with:
- tax return preparation and completion;
- financial statements preparation;
- preparation of client Business Activity Statements;
- all client accounting & business requirements
- bookkeeping duties (Quickbooks, Xero and MYOB)
- general office administration
The Successful applicant should have:
- a minimum of 3 - 5 years experience within a public practice
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency
- An accounting degree
- Experience preparing financial statements, income tax returns and business activity statements for individuals, companies, trust and partnerships;
- A desire to learn and develop within the firm;
- A commitment to continued study (CA/CPA);
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- A proficient knowledge of MYOB, Xero, Quickbooks and MYOB Accountants Office;
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
