About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Business Services Accountant on a full time basis. We would also be open to part-time or flexible working hours for the right applicant.
This is a self-directed role, offering experience in specialist business advisory services.
- Provide sound tax compliance, planning and advice to clients.
- Manage workflow, budgets and deadlines across the year.
- Review and preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for private businesses and family groups.
- Assist with the delivery of advisory services to clients including reviewing business performance, implementing growth strategies, improving cashflow and other processes.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
- Working towards a CA/CPA Qualification
- At least 12 months experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail skills and an eye for quality
- Ability to build rapport and be a trusted advisor to clients
- Have a strong knowledge and understanding of all accounting processes, including the preparation of tax returns and financial statements for private businesses and family groups
- Sound knowledge of Excel and Xero/XPM.
