APG Workforce are currently seeking a Business Services Officer for a 12-month government assignment based in The Rocks, NSW.
The Role:
- Start Date: 29/04/2024
- End Date: 12 months from start date
- Pay Rate: $389 p/d - $430 p/d + super
- Location: The Rocks
- Hours of work: 8 hours p/d, 40 hours p/w
Primary purpose of the role
The role will assist in the provision of high-level business support services to facilitate the delivery of business operations to agreed standards.Key accountabilities - Assist in the coordination of business planning processes, ensuring alignment with corporate strategies and initiatives.
- Draft strategies and plans for approval to be translated into meaningful performance targets, as well as provide assurance and regular reporting for senior management.
- Provide or source advice, technical expertise and operational support for the Unit and the Division’s main functions on a wide variety of business matters, including all HR, finance and procurement submissions.
- Draft correspondence, briefing notes and reports in relation to specific projects, initiatives and issues ensuring that submissions are accurate, timely and have appropriate signoffs.
- Contribute to the sound financial management for the Division, including planning, budgeting, reporting and control.
Candidates must:
- Excellent computer skills
- Customer Service experience
- 2 x Successful Reference checks (mandatory)
- Right to work in Australia (mandatory)
