About the Opportunity:
A prominent firm is seeking a Supervisor or Manager to bolster their Business Services and Tax Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone with 5+ years of experience within an Australian accounting firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with a diverse portfolio of clients, particularly within the agricultural sector.
- Preparation of financial statements, tax returns & Div 7A, CGT and FBT Calculations
- Liaison with the ATO
- Preparation of client financial records
- Excellent client relationship and rapport-building skills
- Strong technical knowledge across Business Services, tax compliance and advisory
- Ability to review, manage workflow & supervise junior/intermediate accountants
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in an Australian accounting firm.
- CA/CPA qualifications or willing to complete.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Exposure to the agricultural sector
- Ability to review and control workflow
