Access theThe OpportunityThis role requires highly developed executive-level administration acumen and the capacity to work within a dynamic, complex healthcare environment involving a wide range of competing priorities and stakeholders.This role is responsible to coordinate the workflows and functions of the Office of the Chief Executive and to maintain the highest standard of executive administration services ensuring Department of Health and Townsville HHS communication protocols, timeframes and quality standards are met.Responsibilities include
- Manage and coordinate the workflows and functions of the Office of the Chief Executive by providing leadership, mentorship and guidance to all Executive Assistants.
- Provide high level, confidential, professional and sensitive advice in a complex environment involving a wide range of competing priorities and stakeholders.
- Draft high-quality responses for Ministerial, Chief Executive and Department of Health requests for information, including the coordination of correspondence, briefings and submissions within appropriate timeframes.
- Manage the Ministerial Designation (MD25) email account, prioritisation and dissemination of information and requests to relevant staff for completion, including monitoring and tracking requests to ensure completion of timely responses.
- Provide backfill to the Company Secretary and assistance to the Board as required.
- Lead and coordinate administration assistance to the Health Emergency Operation Centre (HEOC) as required.
- Manage and coordinate the timely collation of information from across the organisation as required by the Executive to inform decision making.
- Coordinate and oversee the timely development of high-quality Committee and Board papers and other submissions required by the Health Service Chief Executive.
- Salary range of $4516.20 to $4837.70 p.f. (AO6)
- Annual leave with 17.5% loading
- Up to 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
