The NTRO Business Solutions and Transformation Consultant is a newly created role and will be a key position in the commercial team, providing strategic support to managers and executives across NTRO. This role is mainly internally focussed and is responsible for identifying strategic improvements, understanding the root causes, developing and leading innovative initiatives through to implementation across the organisation.
You will be a strategic thinker who has a passion for business transformation and optimal business outputs. With a background and understanding of financial/ commercial risks and opportunities, identifying and mitigating risks.
The Business Solutions and Transformation Consultant is a full-time role within our Commercial team, based in our Port Melbourne office.
Main duties of the role
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to understand and identify internal business challenges
- Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to senior management
- Formulate and recommend tailored solutions to complex internal business problems
- Develop and lead the implementation of strategies and initiatives throughout the business
- Review, monitor and keep abreast of the implemented changes and provide business groups with detailed progress reports
- Develop and deliver training programs to assist with upskilling project and engineering teams to support the developed strategies
- Work towards identifying opportunities and developing them into commercial advantages for NTRO
- Tertiary qualifications in Business Economics, Marketing, Finance or related disciplines
- 7+ years of management consulting experience, within transport infrastructure or construction preferred but not essential
- Commercially focused with highly developed communication, problem solving, negotiation and relationship building skills
- Proficient in financial modelling and valuation analysis skills
- Clear understanding of the Australian market with exposure to mergers & acquisitions, business plan reviews, value creation, market assessment and business operations
- Previous experience with Salesforce or similar ERP systems is desirable
