The Business Support Officer will work closely with the Office of the Senior Director to keep the team running effectively on a day to day basis in times of absence (planned and unplanned).

This exciting job opportunity falls under the Corporate Enterprise Solutions branch within the Department of Health and provides solutions and services that support Queensland Health's enterprise corporate applications while also supporting the payroll transactional processes. This application suite includes the largest integrated rostering and payroll solution in the public sector and the finance, business and logistics solution and management environment.
What we are looking for:
* Lead branch administration and manage the administrative functions of the unit. This will include the development and implementation of business policies and processes, managing the allocation of resources, monitoring workflow and setting priorities.
* Take responsibility for the continued development of staff.
* Have extensive experience and ability in office administration including current knowledge of business procedures and policies.
* Possess a high level of communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise, negotiate and consult with a wide variety of clients as well as preparing clear and concise documents.
* High level of organisation skills and the ability to work within a high pressure environment while establishing work priorities and meeting daily deadlines in an environment of conflicting priorities.
