Batchfire Resources is the owner of Callide Mine in Central Queensland, an open-cut coal operation located 120km southwest of Gladstone and 20km northeast of the thriving regional township of Biloela. The mine has operated since 1944 producing coal primarily for domestic power generation, alumina refining and export markets.
The career opportunity
The role of the Business Support Officer – Human Resources presents an exciting career opportunity for a HR/recruitment professional to deliver a range of recruitment services at Batchfire Resources.
This role will have a strong focus on our recruitment and onboarding processes. You will be required to consult with our stakeholders to meet the needs of each department. You will liaise and manage the end-to-end recruitment process including advertising and proactively searching for personnel, interviewing and effectively onboarding candidates.
Reporting to the Senior HR Advisor, this is a permanent, full-time position working Monday - Friday at Callide Mine near Biloela.
Who are we looking for?
To be successful in this role you will have proven experience in a Human Resources or recruitment position. Your key attributes will include strong communication skills, attention to detail, proactiveness and a systematic approach to your work. In addition, you will have the ability to build positive relationships. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be willing to support the needs of the business.
This is a residential role and no FIFO will be offered.
